The CORE Program was established in 1973 by a few volunteers from the community. The program was initially designed to provide classroom education for individuals convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs.

Over the years, the program expanded to serve the growing needs of the Courts and Community of the 19th Judicial Circuit. The CORE Program now provides comprehensive services including Misdemeanor and DUI probation, substance abuse education and traffic safety education and other services related to community safety and court ordered sanctions.

Important Announcement on Coronavirus COVID-19

We are closely monitoring the current outbreak of the Coronavirus.  We are concerned for the health of our staff and clients and have implemented prevention and sanitation measures in our offices and classrooms.  We are requesting clients experiencing illness to include fever, respiratory illness, and cough, to please call our office to reschedule your service to a later date at no fee.

Effective immediately enrollments, monthly diversion and probation interviews and most other services will be available by phone, email, and through video conferencing to avoid the need for clients to travel and visit offices.

To date, we are continuing scheduled classes and appointments have not been cancelled.  However, if you are unable to attend and would like to reschedule to another class date in the future, please contact our office by phone and we can assist.

Thank you for your cooperation.
