The CORE Program was established in 1973 by a few volunteers from the community. The program was initially designed to provide classroom education for individuals convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs.

Over the years, the program expanded to serve the growing needs of the Courts and Community of the 19th Judicial Circuit. The CORE Program now provides comprehensive services including Misdemeanor and DUI probation, substance abuse education and traffic safety education and other services related to community safety and court ordered sanctions.
